On the INPUT CHANNEL B, set the LINE/PHONO switch to PHONO.
Set the Input Routing and Deck Flavors in TRAKTOR
Instead of setting the input routing options and Deck Flavors manually as described here, you
can also use the Setup Wizard: choose 2 Track Decks + 2 Live Inputs in the menu, click Fin-
ish, and let the Wizard set everything for you. Bear in mind, though, that the Setup Wizard ad-
ditionally resets all TRAKTOR settings to their default values. For more info on the Setup Wiz-
ard, please refer to section ↑7.5, The Setup Wizard.
In the TRAKTOR software, we need to route the inputs of your S4 to the virtual input channels
A and B, and to set the lower Decks A and B to Live Input:
1. Open the Preferences window by clicking on the Preferences button in TRAKTOR’s Head-
er:

In: Ch A right in the L (Mono) and R menus, respectively:
