Control via timecode vinyls/CDs (Scratch Control) is not available in TRAKTOR KONTROL S4
yet.

Starting from the basic setup, we will connect the audio sources to both stereo input
channels on your S4 and configure the required settings accordingly.
Before you proceed, please follow the steps for the basic setup described in section ↑10.1,
TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 Basic Setup.
Connect Your Turntables or CD Decks to the IN 1/2 and IN 3/4 Sockets
Plug your external CD Deck(s) or turntable(s) into the IN 1/2 and IN 3/4 sockets.

In the INPUT CHANNEL A and B sections, plug your turntable or CD deck to the IN 1/2
and IN 3/4 RCA sockets, respectively.
Set the Input Level on Each Channel Accordingly

In the INPUT CHANNEL A and B sections, set the LINE/PHONO switch to PHONO for a
turntable, and LINE for a CD deck or any other line level source (see picture above).
Turntables Only: Connect the Earth Lead(s)
The Ground terminal screw.

When using turntables, attach their earth leads to the Ground terminal screw on the rear
panel of your S4.
