Hotcue Buttons
The Hotcue Buttons menu lets you choose between a Legacy mode, where the Hotcue buttons
behave as with TRAKTOR's former Sample Decks, and a Remix mode, where there was new
functionality added to control TRAKTOR's Remix Decks.
This setting is only relevant in a Remix Deck context, i.e., when the Deck is set to control a
Remix Deck.

The following options are available:
▪ Legacy Mode (default): In Legacy mode, when pressing SHIFT + a REMIX SLOTS button,
the controller will activate Edit mode for a Sample Slot, where the Loop MOVE encoder
and the Loop SIZE encoder control the filter and volume controls of one or multiple Sam-
ple Slots. Pressing SHIFT + a REMIX SLOTS button again will deactivate Edit mode for
the relevant Sample Slot.
▪ Remix Mode: In Remix mode, pressing SHIFT + a REMIX SLOTS button will select the
next Sample Cell in a Sample Slot.
Loop Buttons
The Loop Buttons setting lets you choose alternate functions for the LOOP IN and LOOP OUT
buttons on Track Decks.

The Loop section allows you to manipulate Loops in your track.
Following options are available:
▪ Manual Looping (default): When this option is selected, the buttons have manual looping
functions:
◦ When no Loop is active, the LOOP IN button sets a Floating Cue Point, whereas the
LOOP OUT button sets a Loop Out Point and activates a Floating Loop between the
Floating Cue Point (acting as Loop In Point) and this Loop Out Point.
