Press a flashing target to load the selected track or Sample.
After a target has been selected, the Browse mode stays active, allowing you to load items to
other locations (Track Decks or Sample Slots).

When you are finished, press the BROWSE Encoder again to deactivate the Browse mode.
While in Browse mode, you cannot control the Decks.
6.7.2 Copying across the S4
Direct Copy for Samples
You can directly export a Sample from the current track by pressing an unlit Sample Play but-
ton (empty slot). Please refer to section ↑6.3.9, REMIX SLOTS Buttons for further information
on this.
Using the Copy Mode
The Copy mode allows you to copy a track or a Sample from one location to another on your
S4.

To activate Copy mode, press and hold the BROWSE Encoder:
While the BROWSE Encoder is held depressed, all available copy sources are flashing: the
Headphones Cue buttons (CUE) on the Mixer for tracks, the Sample Play buttons on the Decks
for Samples, and the PLAY button in the Loop Recorder for the recorded loop (if any).

Press a source to select it.

The selected source stops flashing and remains continuously lit.
After a source has been selected, all potential targets start flashing: the Sample Play buttons
on the Decks; the Headphones Cue buttons (CUE) on the Mixer.
