6.4.1 Mixer Overview
The Mixer is equipped with four channels, each of them controlling the signal coming from one
particular Deck: channel A, B, C, and D control the signals coming from Deck A, B, C, and D,
respectively.
Thanks  to  the  logical  layout  of  the  channels  on  the  Mixer,  you  can  quickly  see  what  goes
where:
▪ Channels on the left (A and C) control the signals from left Decks in the software.
▪ Channels on the right (B and D) control the signals from right Decks in the software.
▪ Channels in  the middle  (A and  B) control  the signals  from the  upper Decks  in the  soft-
ware.
▪ Channels on the sides (C and D) control the signals from the lower Decks in the software.
6.4.2 The Main Section
The Mixer's Main section.
The Main section  allows you  to both  monitor  and adjust  the overall  output level of  your mix,
i.e. the  level being  output from  the device.  In this  section, The  LED meters  show the  actual
level being output. So, when the MAIN LEVEL knob is turned down, the MAIN LEVEL meters
will go down too.
The MAIN LEVEL meters do not mirror what is seen in TRAKTOR PRO, although though the
clip LEDs will still light on the S4MK2 when TRAKTOR clips.
