6.4.1 Mixer Overview
The Mixer is equipped with four channels, each of them controlling the signal coming from one
particular Deck: channel A, B, C, and D control the signals coming from Deck A, B, C, and D,
respectively.
Thanks to the logical layout of the channels on the Mixer, you can quickly see what goes
where:
▪ Channels on the left (A and C) control the signals from left Decks in the software.
▪ Channels on the right (B and D) control the signals from right Decks in the software.
▪ Channels in the middle (A and B) control the signals from the upper Decks in the soft-
ware.
▪ Channels on the sides (C and D) control the signals from the lower Decks in the software.
6.4.2 The Main Section
The Mixer's Main section.
The Main section allows you to both monitor and adjust the overall output level of your mix,
i.e. the level being output from the device. In this section, The LED meters show the actual
level being output. So, when the MAIN LEVEL knob is turned down, the MAIN LEVEL meters
will go down too.
The MAIN LEVEL meters do not mirror what is seen in TRAKTOR PRO, although though the
clip LEDs will still light on the S4MK2 when TRAKTOR clips.
