Hotcue Buttons in a Remix Deck Context
If the Deck in focus is a Remix Deck, the RGB Hotcue buttons function in the following way:

Pressing a Hotcue button will trigger the Sample Cell to play.

The Hotcue button illuminates.
►
Pressing a Hotcue button on a playing sample will mute the Remix Slot.
→
The Sample continues to play but is muted.
→
The button will flash to indicate that the Slot is muted.
→
The RGB button mirrors the color of the Sample within TRAKTOR.
To unmute a Remix Slot:
►
Press the Hotcue button again.
→
The Remix Slot will be unmuted, and the Hotcue button will remain illuminated.
To capture a sample from a Remix Deck's capture source Deck:
►
Press an unlit Hotcue button.
To stop a playing Sample:
►
Press SHIFT + Hotcue button.
To delete a stopped Sample:
►
Press SHIFT + Hotcue button.
To load a new Sample from the Browser:
►
Press SHIFT + unlit Hotcue button.
Remix Slot Buttons
The functionality of the REMIX SLOTS buttons when controlling a Remix Deck with the S4 de-
pends on the Hotcue Buttons setting in the Traktor KONTROL S4 section of the TRAKTOR
Preferences.
