• Play Type: Indicated by "PL" on the Display.
• Trigger Type: Indicated by "tr" on the Display.
• Sync Type: Indicated by "Sy" on the Display.
4.7.2 Gate Override Sub-Mode
The Gate Override sub-mode lets you temporarily override the Trigger Type of all Sample Cells
so that they behave as if they are all set to Gate Trigger mode, where you must hold down a
pad for a Sample to play. This does not change the stored property of the Sample Cells — se-
lecting this mode does not change all the Sample Slots to Gate mode.

To enter Gate Override sub-mode, press and release the TYPE (PITCH) button and turn
the encoder knob until you see "go" on the Display.
Note that while in Gate Override sub-mode you cannot scroll the pages of the Remix Deck's
Sample Grid because the encoder knob is being used for choosing the various Type sub-
modes.
When you enter or exit the Gate Override sub-mode, Samples which had already been playing
before entering the sub-mode will not change their play states. For example, if you have a loop-
ed (and latched) Sample playing when you activate Gate Override sub-mode, that Sample will
