4. If desired, press additional pads to capture more Samples, or release the CAPTURE (DE-
LETE) button to return the F1 to Performance mode.
4.4.10 Quick Auto-Capture
Quick Auto-capture combines Auto-capture with Quick-capture. To perform a Quick Auto-cap-
ture:
►
Press and hold the CAPTURE (DELETE) button, and then press the encoder knob.
Like Auto-capture, Quick Auto-capture places the captured Sample on the next available Sam-
ple Cell and will create a pad animation confirming the capture.
4.5 Delete Mode
Delete mode can only be activated by continuously pressing the CAPTURE (DELETE) button. If
you stop holding the button, Delete mode will no longer be active. In other words, there is no
way to toggle Delete mode on and off. This is to prevent you from unintentionally deleting
Samples. The controls which are not affected by activating Delete mode are:
• The Filter knobs
• The Volume faders
In Delete mode, the following controls will be disabled, and their illumination state will be off:
• SYNC (MASTER)
• QUANT (EDIT)
• CAPTURE
• REVERSE (COLOR)
• TYPE (PITCH)
• SIZE (SPEED)
• BROWSE (MIDI)
• Mute (STOP)
