The 7-segment display, and the lower-left quadrant of the F1 indicating that Deck C is the Remix Deck currently controlled
by the F1.
Note that a pad quadrant will only flash if the corresponding Deck is a Remix Deck. If
you've set Deck C to be a Track Deck, for example, then the lower-left quadrant of the Pad
Matrix will not light up when you rotate the encoder knob. This is because the F1 can only
control Remix Decks.
After releasing SHIFT, the F1 will now show the status of the newly assigned Remix Deck. Of-
ten, the Volume faders and Filter knobs will not match those of the new Deck. For example, if
you had all Volume faders all the way up in the previous Remix Deck, whereas the Volume fad-
