• Gated: pad is yellow.
• Empty Cell: pad is off.
As with the Play Type sub-mode, each time you tap an occupied pad, the Trigger Type will be
toggled between latched and gated.
The same Sample Grid page as in the above illustration. There are two gated Sample Cells on this page. Notice the empty
Sample Cell is unlit.

Changing the Sample Sync Type
The Sync Type of a Sample simply means the sync state of a Sample: either it is synced or
unsynced. The Remix Deck will change the speed of a synced Sample to match the Tempo and
internal timeline of the Deck. An unsynced Sample will ignore the Tempo and timeline of the
Deck and will merely scale the playback rate based on the Deck's Tempo Adjust value.
