The selected Pattern is loaded in the Pattern Editor and its events appear in the Event
area. Furthermore, this Pattern is referenced by a Clip for the selected Group in the cur-
rent Scene in the Arranger. This Clip replaces any previous Clip for the Group in that
Scene (see chapter 12.6.3, Saturator for more on this).
If you want to select a Pattern already referenced by one or more Clips in the Arranger, you
can click any of these Clips to select and load the referenced Pattern in the Pattern Editor.
This way your arrangement will not be modified.

Selecting a Pattern Bank
To select a Pattern located in a Pattern bank other than the selected one, you need to select
that other Pattern bank first:
1. Press and hold PATTERN to enter Pattern mode.
2. Press SHIFT + Left/Right Arrow button to select the previous/next Pattern bank, respec-
tively.
If the last Pattern bank is selected and not empty, pressing SHIFT + Right Arrow button
will create a new, empty Pattern bank — see section 7.7.5, Creating and Deleting Pattern
Banks for more information.
Selecting a Pattern
To select a Pattern in the current Pattern bank, press PATTERN + the dim lit pad corre-
sponding to this Pattern.
Selecting a Pattern will:
Display this Pattern in the software’s Pattern Editor. You can then modify it using your
controller or the software.
Create a Clip referencing this Pattern for the selected Group in the current Scene. This
Clip replaces any previous Clip for the Group in that Scene (see chapter 12.6.3, Satura-
tor for more on this).
