Plug-in Menu Entry Description
Save As… Allows you to save the current Plug-in settings as a preset for later use. This
preset will appear in the Browser.
Save As Default… (only when a
Native Instruments or External
Plug-in is loaded)
Allows you to save the current Plug-in settings as a default preset. This de-
fault preset will be recalled each time you load the Plug-in from the Plug-in
menu.
Note that the first two submenus Native Instruments and External only show the Plug-ins
that are enabled in the Plug-ins page of the Preferences panel. For more on this, see sec-
tion 2.5.4, Preferences – Plug-ins Page.
The edit commands (Cut, Copy, and Paste) and preset management commands (Open,
Save As…, and Save As Default…) available at the bottom of the Plug-in menu will be cov-
ered in section 6.1.7, Moving Plug-ins and 6.1.9, Saving and Recalling Plug-in Presets,
respectively.
6.1.3.1 Loading, Removing, and Replacing a Plug-in on the MASCHINE MIKRO MK2 Controller
On the MASCHINE MIKRO controller, do the following:
1. Press CONTROL to enter Control mode.
2. Select the Sound, Group or the Master where you want to load, remove or replace a Plug-
in (see section 2.3.1, Setting the Focus on a Group or a Sound).
3. Press NAV + F3 (PLUG-IN) to display the Plug-in slots of the selected Sound, Group or the
Master.
4. While holding NAV, turn the Control encoder or press the dimmed pads to select the de-
sired Plug-in slot.
The name of the selected Plug-in appears in the display if there are no Plug-ins in the
channel this will read (NONE).
You are now ready to load, insert, remove or replace a Plug-in as described in the follow-
ing paragraphs.
Loading a Plug-in in Place
To load a Plug-in into the selected Plug-in slot, do the following:
1. Press SHIFT + BROWSE to open the Plug-in Browser and browse the available Plug-ins.
