Press and turn the Control encoder to adjust the value in finer increments.

These shortcuts control the AMOUNT parameter in the SWING page of the Master’s, Group’s,

and Sound’s Groove properties, respectively. See section ↑5.2.4, Groove for a detailed de-

scription of these properties.

In the software you can also adjust the Swing amount of your Project via the SWING control in

the Header:

Tempo and Tune Shortcuts

1. Press MAIN to enter Main mode (the button must be lit).

2. Press F3 (TEMPO).

3. To change the tempo of the Master (i.e. the tempo of your Project), simply turn the Con-

trol encoder.

4. To change the tune of all Sounds in a Group, hold the GROUP button, press the pad 9–16

of the desired Group (first navigate to its Group bank via the Left/Right Arrow buttons if

necessary), and turn the Control encoder while holding GROUP.

5. To change the tune of an individual Sound, hold its pad (or hold SELECT + its pad if pads

are in Keyboard mode) and turn the Control encoder. In Keyboard mode you can also

press SELECT + the pad of the desired Sound, then hold any pad (i.e. any pitch of that

Sound) and turn the Control encoder.

6. Press CONTROL to leave Main mode and return to the default Control mode.
