With SHIFT held, the top row of pads will show if Keylock is enabled on each of the four Sam-
ple Slots. The same is true for FX, Monitor, and Punch.
To change the parameter status:
Just tap a pad while holding SHIFT.
Each time you press a pad, the parameter state (active or inactive) will be toggled. When you
release SHIFT, the Pad Matrix shows the contents of the current page of the Sample Grid.
4.2.12 Mute (STOP) Buttons
Below the F1's Pad Matrix is a row of buttons for muting and stopping Sample Slots.

Muting and Unmuting Sample Slots
To mute a Sample Slot:
Press the Mute (STOP) button at the bottom of the corresponding Sample Slot column.
When the Sample Slot is muted, the button will be dim. Unmuted Sample Slots display bright-
ly lit Mute (STOP) buttons.
Stopping Sample Slots
Pressing the Mute (STOP) button only mutes the Sample Slot player. The "playhead" of the
Sample continues, so that when you unmute, the Sample continues to play where it would
have been if you hadn't muted it.
To actually stop Sample playback in a Sample Slot and reset the playhead to the Sample's
start position:
Press SHIFT + Mute (STOP).
