available to other stations. If you try to access it, the APMS program will display a
“No response from the AP” message.
When the file transfer is complete, click OK to close the window.
Reset
After changing the AP’s IP, Access Control, Trap Server, or Wireless options, the
AP needs to be reset to enable the new settings. Prior to exiting the APMS
program, or selecting a different AP, click the Reset menu item. A Reset
confirmation window will be displayed.
Click OK to reset the AP or Cancel to abort the reset command.
WEP
Specify the WEP parameters.
Viewing InstantWave High Speed Information and
Statistics
View
The menu items under View provide read-only information and statistics.
To customize the screen view, right-click in the main screen to open a context
sensitive menu. Select your preferred view, i.e. Icons, List, Details, etc.

The Status bar at the bottom of the screen shows the connecting status. When the
bar shows Ready, Associated will appear on the bar along with the IP of the
associated AP.
AP Information
Clicking AP Information opens a window displaying the Access Point
system information (Figure 25). The information shown is read-only.
