Saving and Loading AP Configuration
Saving the AP’s Configuration to File
After the targeted AP has connected successfully, the AP s configuration can be
saved as an ASCII file. To do this, first click on the File main menu item. From the
sub-menu (Figure 27) click Save AP Configuration. A standard Windows’ Save
As dialog box will appear. Enter a file name, choose a location for the file, and
click OK. The APMS program performs a Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP) command to get the configuration from the AP and write it into the
configuration file.

Opening an AP’ s Configuration File for Loading
s configuration has previously been saved, it may be easily viewed using
the following procedure. Click on the File main menu item. From the sub-menu
click Load AP Configuration. A standard Windows Open dialog box will appear.
Choose the file you wish to open and click OK . Click the Load Now button to load
the displayed configuration to the current AP.
Import Host Table
Click Import Host Table (Figure 28) to import a previously saved host table, e.g. a
file saved using the AP COMFig tool
