3.3 9 FRAMING Prepare rough in framing following the recommended dimensions in Figure 1. For the corner rough in framing, follow the recommended dimension in Figure 2. Select a location that is not prone to moisture and is located at least 36" (914mm) away from combustible materials such as curtain drapes, furniture, bedding, paper etc. EN Fig. 2 Fig. 1 K J C L B B A Fig.
3.3.1 HARD WIRING INSTALLATION ! EN WARNING TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE COMPLETELY AND LET COOL BEFORE SERVICING. ONLY A QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSON SHOULD SERVICE AND REPAIR THIS ELECTRIC APPLIANCE. HARD WIRING CONNECTION If it is necessary to hard wire this appliance, a qualified electrician must remove the cord connection, and wire the appliance directly to the household wiring. The wire and power supply breaker must rated for 120V minimum 15 Amps.
A. Remove the securing screw from the electrical cover plate, located on the right hand side of the fireplace. B. Add an electrical box connector and feed the supply wires through the 7/8" (22mm) knock out. C. Separate the black, white and green wires that have the marrets on them. D. Remove the marrets and secure the black wire (power L1) to the black (power L1) lead of the power supply. Connect the white wire from the unit to the white (neutral) wire from the power supply.
3.3.3 EN WALL SWITCH WIRING NOTE: Use a single pole on/off switch (not supplied) rated for minimum 15 Amps. A. Remove the electrical box cover plate. B. Feed the supply wires through the 7/8" (22mm) knock out. C. Connect one black wire to the black wire coming from the fireplace electrical box, connect the other end to the wall switch. D. Run a wire from the wall switch to the power supply. E.
4.0 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Once the appliance has been plugged into a grounded electrical outlet or hard wired to a 120V power supply, it is ready to operate. NOTE: Ensure the house circuit breakers for the power supply are turned on. In the event of a power failure, when the main power switch of the appliance is in the "I" ON position and the hand held remote control is in the ON position, the flame generation lights will come back on at the high setting, when the power supply returns. 4.
4.2 OPERATING BY REMOTE CONTROL ! EN WARNING TO AVOID DANGER OF SUFFOCATION KEEP THE PACKAGING BAG AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN. DO NOT USE IN CRIBS, BED, CARRIAGES OR PLAY PENS. THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY. KNOT BEFORE THROWING AWAY. NOTE: When operating the remote control, it must be directed towards the front center of the appliance. A. Make certain the appliance’s main power switch is at the ON position on the control board.
5.0 FINISHING ! WARNING POWER SUPPLY SERVICE MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO FINISHING TO AVOID RECONSTRUCTION. HEAT VENTS AND AIR OPENINGS CANNOT BE COVERED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. 5.1 GLASS DOOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ! WARNING THE DOOR LATCHES ARE PART OF A SAFETY SYSTEM AND MUST BE PROPERLY ENGAGED. DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WITH LATCHES DISENGAGED.
5.2 EN BRICK PANEL INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL A. Slide the panels into place and secure it using the 2 screws. B. Ensure the brick panels are positioned appropiately in the unit and are not angled or sticking out from the unit. C. To remove the panels, remove the 2 screws. 2 SCREW LOCATIONS W415-1299 / B / 06.16.
6.0 MAINTENANCE ! WARNING PREPARATION FOR MAINTENANCE ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE POWER AND ALLOW THE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE TO COOL BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING, MAINTENANCE OR RELOCATION OF THIS ELECTRIC APPLIANCE. TURN CONTROLS TO OFF AND REMOVE PLUG FROM OUTLET OR TURN OFF THE HOUSE CIRCUIT BREAKER TO ELECTRIC APPLIANCE RECEPTACLE. EN DO NOT INSTALL REPLACEMENT LED LIGHTS THAT EXCEED SPECIFIED MAXIMUM WATTS.
6.2 LOG AND LOG LED REPLACEMENT If the log's LED lights become damaged replace with the proper LED light. EN 6.3 6.4 FLAME GLASS REMOVAL A. Place a hand on the glass to hold it in place while removing the 10 screws on the bottom of the glass. The glass will fall down to 2 holding tabs. B. Tilt the glass forward on the bottom with both hands, lift the glass up and out of the unit. C. Place the glass on a soft, non-abrasive surface. FLAME BOARD REMOVAL A.
6.5 MOTOR REPLACEMENT A. 6.6 To access the 2 screws holding the motor, remove the reflector. Pull the reflector out from the adaptor to release the reflector and pull the adaptor from the motor. B. Unplug the quick connect motor wire from the wire harness. C. Remove the 2 screws holding the motor and take the motor out of the unit. ADAPTOR MOTOR EN REFLECTOR CONTROL BOARD REPLACEMENT A.
6.7 LED / REMOTE RECEIVER / THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT A. To replace LED lights in the ember bed, flame and/or decorative lights, disconnect the quick connect plug from the control board and replace with new one. B. To replace the remote receiver and thermostat wires, disconnect the quick connect plug from the control board and replace with new one. EN DECORATIVE LED REMOTE RECEIVER THERMOSTAT CONTROL PANEL FLAME LED 6.8 FUSE REPLACEMENT A. Remove the plastic cover from the fuse.
6.9 CONTROL PANEL REPLACEMENT ! WARNING PREPARATION FOR MAINTENANCE ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE POWER AND ALLOW THE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE TO COOL BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING, MAINTENANCE OR RELOCATION OF THIS ELECTRIC APPLIANCE. 6.10 HEATER AND BLOWER REPLACEMENT EN A. Remove the top front and top rear panels, as illustrated in step 'B' section 6.9. B. Unplug the wires connected to the heater and blower. NOTE: Use pliers to pinch the connector free from the heater tabs for easier removal. C. Remove the 4 screws that secure the heater and blower assembly to the unit, refer to Figure 1. Take the blower and heater assembly out of the unit. D.

3.3 37 FRAMING Préparez l’ossature selon les dimensions recommandées à la figure 1. Pour une ossature en coin, respectez les dimensions recommandées dans la figure 2. 3.4 BRANCHEMENT PAR CABLE ! AVERTISSEMENT COUPEZ L’ALIMENTATION ÉLECTRIQUE À L’APPAREIL ET LAISSEZ-LE REFROIDIR AVANT D’EFFECTUER UN ENTRETIEN. SEUL UN TECHNICIEN DE SERVICE QUALIFIÉ PEUT EFFECTUER L’ENTRETIEN OU LA RÉPARATION DE CET APPAREIL ÉLECTRIQUE. FR BRANCHEMENT PAR CÂBLE: Si c'est nécessaire de faire un branchement par câble, un électricien qualifié peut retirer le cordon d’alimentation de l'appareil et brancher ce dernier directement au câblage de la maison.
A. Retirez la vis de fixation de la plaque de recouvrement, située sur le côté droit du foyer. B. Faites passer les fils d’alimentation à travers le trou perforé de 22 mm (7/8 "). C. Séparez l’un de l’autre les fils noir, blanc et vert munis de capuchons de connexion. D. Retirez les capuchons de connexion et raccordez le fil noir (alimentation L1) au fil noir (alimentation L1) du circuit d’alimentation. Raccordez le fil blanc de l’appareil au fil blanc (neutre) du circuit d’alimentation.
3.5.3 BRANCHEMENT D'UN INTERRUPTEUR MURAL NOTE: Utilisez un interrupteur marche/arrêt unipolaire (non fourni) de 15 A minimum. A. Retirez la plaque de recouvrement du boîtier électrique. B. Faites passer les fils d’alimentation à travers le trou perforé de 22 mm (7/8 "). C. Raccordez un fil noir au fil noir du boîtier électrique du foyer. Raccordez l’autre extrémité à l’interrupteur mural. D. Acheminez un câble de l’interrupteur mural jusqu’à l’alimentation électrique. E.
4.0 INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT L'appareil est prêt à fonctionner dès qu'il est correctement branché dans une prise de courant mise à la terre (120V). NOTE : Assurez-vous que les disjoncteurs de la maison pour ce circuit soient allumés. Lors d'une panne de courant, lorsque l’interrupteur principal de l’appareil est en position « I » (marche) et que la télécommande est en position MARCHE, les lumières du jeu de flammes se rallumeront au réglage élevé, quand le courant sera rétabli. 4.
4.2 UTILISATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE ! AVERTISSEMENT AFIN D’ÉVITER LES RISQUES DE SUFFOCATION, GARDEZ LE SAC D’EMBALLAGE LOIN DES BÉBÉS ET DES JEUNES ENFANTS. 5.2 ENLÈVEMENT ET INSTALLATION DES PANNEAUX DE BRIQUE A. Glissez les panneaux en place et fixez avec les 2 vis. B. Assurez-vous que les panneaux de briques sont correctement positionnés, ne sont pas inclinés ou en train de dépasser l’unité. C. Pour enlever les panneaux, enlevez les deux vis. 6.2 REMPLACEMENT DES BÛCHES ET DES LUMIÈRES DEL DES BÛCHES Si les lumières DEL des bûches sont endommagées, remplacez-les par des lumières DEL appropriées. 6.3 RETRAIT DE LA VITRE MIROIR FR 6.4 A. Placez une main sur la vitre pour la maintenir en place tout en retirant les 10 vis du bas de la vitre. La vitre glissera dans deux pattes de retenue. B. Inclinez le bas de la vitre vers l’avant avec les deux mains, soulevez la vitre hors de l’unité. C.
6.5 6.6 REMPLACEMENT DU MOTEUR A. Pour accéder aux deux vis de fixation du moteur, retirez le réflecteur. Tirez sur la réflecteur à partir l'adaptateur pour libérer le réflecteur, puis tirez l'adaptateur à partir moteur. B. Débranchez le fil de moteur à connexion rapide du harnais de fils. C. 6.8 REMPLACEMENT DE THERMOSTAT / TELECOMMANDE / DEL A. Pour remplacer les ampoules DEL décoratives ou celles du lit de braises ou du jeu de flammes, débranchez le raccord rapide du panneau de contrôle et remplacez-les par de nouvelles. B. Pour remplacer les fils du récepteur et du thermostat, retirez la fiche à connexion rapide du panneau de contrôle et remplacez-les par de nouveaux. 6.10 REMPLACEMENT DE CHAUFFERETTE ET SOUFFLERIE FR A. Retirez les panneaux supérieurs avant et arrière comme illustré à l’étape « B » de la section 6.9. B. Débranchez les fils connectés à la chaufferette et à la soufflerie. NOTE : Pour faciliter le retrait, utilisez des pinces pour libérer le connecteur des bornes de la chaufferette. C. Retirez les 4 vis qui fixent la chaufferette et la soufflerie à l’unité. Enlevez la chaufferette et la soufflerie de l’unité, eportez-vous à la figure 1. D.
