INSTALLATION To ensure years of enjoyment from your NADY AUDIO RPA-4, please read and understand this manual thoroughly before using the unit. INSPECTION Your RPA-4 was carefully packed at the factory in packaging designed to protect the units in shipment. Before installing and using your unit, carefully examine the packaging and all contents for any signs of physical damage that may have occurred in transit. (Note: Nady Systems is not responsible for shipping damage.
FRONT PANEL CONTROLS & CONNECTIONS FRONT PANEL Note: 1 through 6 below are referenced to Channel 1. The other 3 channels are identical. (2) (1) (3) (1) GAIN CONTROL The Gain Control determines the proportion of the channel signal in the mix, (4) (2) REVERB CONTROL The Reverb Control adjusts the level of signal sent by each channel to the internal Reverb DSP (Digital Sound Processor). The signal sent is mono, post-High/Low and will be affected by the channel Gain Control.
FRONT PANEL CONTROLS & CONNECTIONS (14) (9) MASTER — DEPTH CONTROL This controls the amount of feedback of the reverb reflection, i.e. the number of reflections and the length of time before they diminish in volume. (15) (16) (10) POWER ON LED INDICATOR Indicates when the unit is ON. (11) MASTER — HIGH CONTROL The control has a shelving response giving 15dB of boost or cut at 12KHz.
