Firmware Update – PC and MAC

*Please note as of Firmware1.7.0 a failsafe has been added to ensure

proper operation following a firmware load failure. Prior firmwares must

be loaded safely by shutting down All non essential programs,

disconnecting USB1 and USB2 ports, ensuring uninterrupted power to

the unit. After Firmware has been loaded Restart DAC and Computer.

Firmware updates must be done using Firewire. Inside

FireWire control panel, under Device Settings is the Firmware

Loader. Download the latest Firmware.bin file from

mytek.com/hifi . Browse to the new firmware file and hit upload.

The unit will restart when complete.
