7. MQA - Master Qualiy Authenticated
MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording.
The master MQA le is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download.Using pioneering
scientic research into how people hear, MQA delivers master quality audio in a le that’s small enough
to stream or download – the days of sacricing quality for convenience are over.

The Liberty DAC II includes MQA technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio les and
streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.
Authentication Types
The color of the small spot next to MQA logo indicates if the MQA stream is detected.
The spot glows green or blue to indicate that the unit is decoding and playing an MQA stream or le,
and denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source material.
It glows blue to indicate it is playing an MQA Studio le, which has either been approved in the studio
by the artist/producer or has been veried by the copyright owner.
8. Remote
The Liberty DAC II is infrared remote ready and comes with Aluminum Apple Remote. To pair it, please
press and hold [Menu] + [Select] or [Menu] + [Next] buttons on Remote Controller for at last 5s
(device will conrm pairing procedure by blinking Volume LED’s).
