INGREDIENTS
1 BUNCH OF ASPARAGUS
MYRON MIXON STEAK MARINADE
MYRON MIXON HOT RUB
MYRON MIXON HICKORY SALT
MYRON MIXON CHICKEN SALT
JACK MIXON VINEGAR SAUCE
1 PACK OF THIN CUT BACON
DIRECTIONS
Prep Work Rinse and wash the asparagus to remove any grit. Cut the base of
the asparagus approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the stem.
Marinade Use the Myron Mixon Steak Marinade until the asparagus is fully
submerged. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
Prep Work II Remove the asparagus from the pan in bundles of 6. Set each
bundle separately and wrap in thin cut bacon.
Rub Use Myron Mixon Hot Rub, Hickory Salt, and Chicken Salt on each bundle of
asparagus.
Time to go on the smoker at 400 degrees.
Cook - The 400 degrees setting plus putting down the Grill Grates will allow the
smoker to reach 550 degrees. Allow the asparagus to smoke for 18 minutes or
until the bacon comes to a crisp.
Rest Allow the asparagus to rest for 5 minutes.
