NAVIGATION DEVICE AND PC
To be able to copy data to the SD card, your PC must have access to this SD card.
The SD Card – Interface between the Navigation Device and the PC
You can transfer data to your navigation device via the SD card or via a USB connection. This
allows you to store additional maps, pictures, videoclips, movies and games. Simply establish a
connection between your SD card and the PC (the PC acts as a data source) or connect the
navigation device and the PC by using a USB cable. An SD card reader is required (unless your
PC or notebook already features a built-in card reader) or a Mini USB cable. To use a card
reader, perform the following steps.
Purchase an SD card reader for USB port.
Connect the card reader to the PC.
Insert the SD card into the card reader.
Copy the desired data onto the SD card.
Eject the SD card and insert it into the navigation device.
Now you can access the new data.
To use a USB connection, perform the following steps.
Connect the Mini USB cable.
Turn the PC and the navigation device on.
Copy the desired data onto the SD card.
Disconnect the USB cable.
