Mute on/off (10)

Press this button to mute the sound quickly. This does not change the volume level nor the

enabled/disabled status of voice instructions or button sound, only the sound output will be

switched off. While the Mute function is enabled, the loudspeaker icon is crossed out.

 Tap the icon again to reactivate the sound (Mute off).

 Note: You may also disable the sound in Settings => Sound => Master. The button Master

on this menu works together with the above button. This screen also contains a Master

slider. You can use it to reduce the overall volume output. Volume setting is different from

Mute, therefore no Mute icon will be shown here.

Route track logging/playback (11)

During route track logging a red recording icon appears on the map displays. This icon also

works like a button to access the Quick => Manage Track Logs, where you can stop the track

logging or play it back on the map.

 During playback, a green icon will blink. Tap this icon at any time to stop the simulation.

Follow Button – Fixing the GPS Position and Driving Direction (12)

This semi-transparent icon will appear while GPS tracking is available and the map has been

moved or rotated manually. It also appears while scaling or changing the virtual height as long

as the Smart Zoom feature is enabled. Normally, the system will position the map in a way that

the GPS position will remain visible at any point on the map (whilst using map North orientation)

or always in the upper half of the map (whilst using driving direction orientation). When moving

the map manually, the map will become fixed at the new position. Press the Freeze button to go

back to the GPS position.
