Cursor - selected map point
When tapping any point on the map or when
selecting a specific POI under Find, this point
will become selected on the map. It will be
marked by a small red dot and continuously
expanding red circles will make it well visible.
You may use this point as starting point,
waypoint or destination of your route.
Marked map point - Pin
You can place a pin at the cursor position. All
pins appear on the map. They will be visible at
any zoom level and until you delete them
individually or remove all pins at your position
via Advanced Settings.
Visible POIs
POIs (Point Of Interest) are represented by
icons on the map. The preset POIs have
subcategory icons similar to the real POI. Any
user-defined POIs allow you to select a POI
icon. These icons are large enough to be
identified but also semi-transparent in order to
avoid covering any roads or road junctions.
