Street names
Streets are given names or numbers for
identification. Of course you may display them
on the map. The program can display street
labels in two ways:
 The traditional mode is equivalent to a
road map, the name appears parallel
along the street.
 The alternate mode is a kind of virtual way
sign to be pinned onto the street.
You do not have to choose between the two
modes. The program will display the most
suitable mode depending on the virtual height
and zoom level. Zoom in to view a few streets
only and start increasing the virtual height to
observe how the program toggles between the
two modes.
Good to Know
If you don't want the street names to disturb
you while navigating, you can disable them via
Settings => View Settings.
Artificial Landmarks
To improve your orientation, the map also
includes objects to help you identify your
position on the map. These are water, large
buildings, forests, etc. The below screen shows
a river (blue) and a forest (green).
