Zoom Levels
Your MyGuide navigation device uses high-
quality vectorised maps. This allows you to view
the map at different zoom levels with optimised
contents. The detail density for the map and the
cockpit display can be set independently via
Settings => View Settings => Map Detail. Street
names and other text objects will always be
displayed with the same font size and never
flipped vertically, and you will only see as many
streets and objects as necessary for your
orientation on the map. Just test the different
zoom levels to see how the map changes in
both 2D and 3D views.
Daylight colour profile and Night colour
profile
The different colour settings allow you to
customise your navigation system to the
different environmental situations. Daylight
colours are similar to those used for printed
road maps while night colours use darker
colours in order to keep the overall screen
brightness dimmed. The system uses selected
colours for you to easily recognise all relevant
information. You can quickly toggle between the
daylight and night colour profiles via the
Settings menu.
Good to Know
The program offers different daylight and night
colours. Make the desired choice via Settings
=> View Settings.
