SAFETY INFORMATION SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS: This manual contains important instructions that should be followed during installation, operation, and maintenance of the product. Keep safety labels in good condition, replacing any missing or damaged labels. Do not touch an operating motor. Modern motors can operate at high temperatures. Do not handle pump or pump motor with wet hands or when standing on wet or damp surface, or in water.
INSTALLATION INSTALLATION Install on a hard, level surface of sediment or gravel. Hazardous voltage. Can shock, burn or kill. See Cord Lift Warning in Safety section. PIPING Piping must not be smaller than pump discharge. When installed in a sewage system, the pipe must be capable of handling semi-solids of at least 2” (51mm) in diameter. The rate of flow in the discharge pipe must keep any solids present in suspension in the fluid.
INSTALLATION/OPERATION 11. Pull the power cords up through the cord grommet hole in the cover, press the cords into the grommet, and install the cord grommet in the cover. TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM Pump won't start. Pump starts and stops frequently. POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION Pump not plugged in. Check that pump is plugged into a proper outlet. Blown fuse. If blown, replace with fuse of proper size. Low line voltage. If voltage is under recommended minimum, check size of wiring from main switch on property. If OK, contact power company or hydro authority. Defective motor. Replace pump. Defective float switch. Replace float switch. Impeller.

INSTALLATION INSTALLATION Installez la pompe sur une surface dure et plane (ciment, asphalte, à l’intérieur d’un puisard, etc.). Ne placez jamais la pompe directement sur une surface de terre, d’argile ou de gravier. Tension dangereuse. Peut causer un choc électrique, des brûlures ou la mort. DÉPANNAGE SYMPTÔME La pompe ne démarre pas. La pompe démarre et s’arrête fréquemment. La pompe ne s’arrête pas. La pompe fonctionne, mais elle pompe très peu ou pas d’eau. MY538-R (08-20-20) CAUSE POSSIBLE MESURE CORRECTIVE La pompe n’est pas branchée. Vérifiez si la pompe est branchée dans une prise appropriée. Fusible brûlé. Remplacez le fusible par un fusible de calibre approprié s’il est brûlé. Tension de ligne basse.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS SÍNTOMA La bomba no arranca. La bomba se enciende y se detiene con frecuencia. POSIBLE CAUSA MEDIDA CORRECTIVA La bomba no está enchufada. Controle si la bomba está enchufada en un tomacorriente apropiado. Fusible quemado. Si está quemado, reemplácelo por un fusible del tamaño adecuado. Voltaje de línea bajo. Si el voltaje es menor al mínimo recomendado, controle el tamaño del cableado desde el interruptor principal en la propiedad.
