4. Setting your ‘Master’ Device and in-built vHub
When your myenergi device leaves the factory it is configured for installation as a standalone device. However, if the
settings are changed or you run into problems setting it up then please follow these instructions to make sure it correctly
configured for use as a single myenergi device.
NOTE: The zappi must be set to “master” before the vHub option is turned on. Doing so will result in the zappi
automatically adding the vHub to the linked devices list.
1. Ensure you have followed above steps to connect your device to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet connection
2. Navigate to Menu > ‘Other settings’> ‘Advanced …’ > ‘Linked Devices’
3. Check Master is set to “on”
4. Stay in the ‘Linked Devices’ Menu and select ‘vHub’. Press ‘+’ to enable.
Note: vHub will now appear in ‘Devices’ list (as shown below) displaying the same serial number as your zappi
device.
