4.3 Netzwerk konfigurieren und testen
Für die Kommunikation in Ihrem Netzwerk kann das myE-
thernet frei konfiguriert werden. Dabei sind IP-Adresse und
Subnetzmaske entsprechend dem bestehenden Netzwerk
anpassbar.
Die folgende Erklärung zeigt Ihnen zwei Wege der Integra-
tion.
4.3 Configurate and test the network
The myEthernet can be configured free for the commu-
nication in your network. The IP address and the subnet
mask are adaptable according to the existing network.
The following explanation shows you two ways of the
integration.

4.4 myEthernet in das Netzwerk integrieren
Soll das myEthernet in ein existierendes Netzwerk
eingebunden werden, dann benötigen Sie zuerst den
Adressebereich Ihres Netzes. Ist dieser nicht bekannt, so
kann er auf einem Windowssystem (2000, 2003, XP)
entweder aus den Einstellungen der Netzwerk-konfiguration
oder mit dem Befehl „ipconfig“ in der Commandshell
ermittelt werden. In einem auf UNIX/Linux basierendem
System verwenden Sie in der Shell den Befehl „ifconfig
eth0“ entsprechend der ersten Netzwerkkarte.
4.4 Integrate the myEthernet in a network
When the myEthernet must be integrated in an existing
network then you need at first the address range of your
net. If you don’t know it then you can find it out in the
settings of the network configuration of your windows
system (2000, 2003, XP) or with the command “ipconfig”
in the commandshell. In a UNIX / Linux based system
you have to take the command „ifconfig eth0“ according
to the first network interface card.
