Command errors occur during the processing of command data received from
the computer.
If the printer's command set-up differs from the type of command data
sent from the computer
If there is a grammatical error in the command data sent from the com-
puter
The beeper gives three long beeps when a data error occurs.
• A command error may occur together with a data error (related
to error code I15). In this case the communication settings
should be checked.
• The command that caused the error may be shown enclosed in
brackets in the data error message.
Undefined command error
A command that is undefined by MH-
GL command mode was analyzed.
Parameter error
An invalid number of parameters follow
the command.
Numerical value error
An invalid parameter follows the com-
mand.
Undefined character set
A non-existent character set has been
selected.
