• The printer is designed for use with Eco-Solvent Plus ink cassettes. If you do not
genuine products, printouts may become faint and the printer will not be able to
detect the end of ink.
• The warranty will not cover (repairs will require a fee) a breakdown.
(3) Replacement procedure
Follow the steps below to replace ink cassettes.
Caution :
• When handling ink cassettes, be careful that ink does not get in your eyes or on
your skin. However, if this happens, flush immediately with water.
Otherwise, your eyes may become congested or slightly inflamed. If you feel
discomfort, consult a doctor immediately.
• Do not disassemble ink cassettes. Otherwise, ink may get in your eyes or on your
skin.
• Only use Eco-Solvent Plus ink and appropriate cleaning liquid. Using other ink
(e.g. dye or pigment) could cause permanent damage to the printer.
Notes :
• Do not shake ink cassettes. Doing so may cause ink to leak out.
• Do not disassemble ink cassettes. Disassembled ink cassette cannot be used.
Step 1 :
If the printer is turned on, make sure of the following
• Printing or other operations are not performed.
• Make sure that the display on the operation panel shows the normal state.
• The MEDIA SET light on the operation panel goes off.
