5.4.68. Print and wipe menu
To take care of possible condensation on the head nozzle plate, it is possible to wipe while printing.

High After printing 10 passes, wiping cycle will be
performed.
Middle After printing 16 passes, wiping cycle will be
performed.
Print and Wipe
Low After printing 22 passes, wiping cycle will be
performed.

Notes :
Only perform a wipe when there is condensation.
When there is condensation, and you use the wiping function, please refer to the
table mentioned below. refer to “Technical Information Bulletin
TIB073_Rockhopper_II_Solvent_Condensation”
When installing the new firmware on your Rockhopper II printer, we advise you to
install the new wiper. Details will follow in a separate Technical Information
Bulletin.
When you want to do tests with the wiper, start at “Low”, otherwise you’ll have too
many wipes, and it is possible that the ‘low’ option is sufficient.
When the fixer (heater B) is not in use and nozzles are miss-firing or not firing, do
not use the wiping function to take care of this problem. In this case the miss-firing
cannot be caused by condensation. Perform a regular cleaning to solve this
problem.

The expectation is that for 50” units, the advised wiping intensity will be identical or more intense than for a 64”
printer.
