6.5.5.6 Chip Manager Menu
When printing, the ink volume is reduced from the SmartChip on the ink cassette. It is also possible to load
the ink volume on the SmartChips on the ink cassette to the SmartChip management system. Please refer to
the chapter Working with Mutohs SmartChip management system for further details.
Setup items Parameters Description
ChipMgr Cassette Use the smart chips on the ink cassettes
Printer Use the smart chip manager system on the top (or
back) of the machine. Recommended when working
with a Spitfire Bulk Ink System.
- [CANCEL] key: shifts to the previous menu.
6.5.5.7 Ink Supply Menu
Via this setting, you can activate your Mutoh Bulk Ink System or leave the printer in cassette mode.
Setup items Parameters Description
Ink Manager (1/1) ON Make use of a Mutoh Bulk Ink System
(Not possible when using Eco Solvent Ultra ink)
OFF Only use cassettes
