6.5.5.5 Charge / Discharge Menu
This function gives the ability to charge or discharge every head separately or at once.
You will need these functions to perform a long store or to change your ink configuration.
Discharge: Remove ink out of the tubings or create an air bubble to push out the ink.
Charge: Loading of ink or cleaning liquid.

1. Discharge function
This function can be used to remove all ink or cleaning liquid out of the tubes of the printer. A discharge of 3
minutes should be enough.
When changing from ink to cleaning liquid or in the opposite way, or change from ink configuration, it is not
necessary to discharge all the ink out of the tubes. A discharge of 15 seconds should be enough to create
an air bubble which will push out the remaining ink in the tubes. Please refer to the charge menu to perform
an ink or cleaning charge.
Please follow the procedure below to discharge head 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or ALL heads.
Step 1 : Go the Ink Manager Menu > Charge/Discharge
Step 2 : Select the head which should be discharged and remove corresponding cassettes.
For example, head 1, 4 and 7.
Select head 1, 4 and 7
Browse to head 1 with [F2] key. Select
head 1 by pressing the [F1] key.
Browse to head 4 with [F2] key. Select
head 4 by pressing the [F1] key.
Browse to head 7 with [F2] key. Select
head 7 by pressing the [F1] key.
