6.1.1.2 Clean the caps in the maintenance station
Step 1 : Power ON the printer and go to the WiperClean-menu.
Step 2 : Press the [F2]-key to accept the carriage to move to the left side of the machine
Step 3 : Clean the area around the caps with a swab. If you see ink, dust or something else, clean it
immediately to maintain your print quality.
Make sure to wear gloves.
Step 4 : Press the ENTER key when the cleaning is done.
Step 5 : The carriage will go back to its home position.
6.1.1.3 Clean around the bottom of the heads
Step 1 : Power ON the printer and go to the WiperClean-menu.
Step 2 : Press the [F2]-key to accept the carriage to move to the left side of the machine.
Step 3 : Open the left maintenance covers.
Step 4 : Clean around the bottom of the heads. Be sure NOT to touch the nozzle plate.
