3.2 LOADING MEDIA
3.2.1 Loading roll media
Please refer to the User’s Guide of the Unwinder/Winder 100 or the T- winder to know how to load roll
media.
3.2.2 Loading sheet media
You can use the following sheet media with your printer.
Machine Media Width Printing Width
Spitfire Extreme 65 1653 mm 1643 mm
Spitfire Extreme 90 2280 mm 2250 mm
To load sheet media, follow the steps below.
Notes
If roll media is attached to the printer, wind the media up and then load the sheet media.
Step 1 : Turn the printer on.
Step 2 : The printer starts the initialize operation.
• The following message is displayed on the operation panel.
Step 3 : Verify if the sheet lamp on the operation panel is unlit.
Step 4 : Press the [F4] key on the operation panel to lower the pressure rollers.
• The MEDIA SET lamp will light (orange).
• The following message is displayed on the operation panel.
Step 5 : Open the front cover.
