4.7. LOADING ROLL MEDIA
Notes :
We recommend you to wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints on the inkjet media.
4.7.1. Installation of roll media
The procedure for installation of roll media to the printer is explained below.
The roll media can immediately be installed between the motorized roll unit and the roll unit of the unwinder.
Caution :
• Make sure to position the roll media in the middle of the printing space. Use the
hole pattern in the steel bar to determine the middle of the printer.

4.7.2. Loading roll media
The procedure for loading roll media is explained below.
To load roll media, follow the steps below.
Notes :
• You can use the roll-off foot switch during loading of roll media.
4.7.2.1. When unwinding the media with the printable side on the outside.
Step 1 : Make sure the printer and unwinder / winder 100 are ON.
Step 2 : Press the [F4] key to raise the pressure roller.
