5.2.2 Wipe the heads
Step 1 : Open the maintenance cover.
Step 2 : Put the purge plate down the purge stand.
Step 3 : Lightly wipe off the ink accumulated on the print head using the attached print head wiper. Wipe
from the back to the front of the head surface.

Notes
• All print head surfaces should be wiped off, even after purging 1 colour only. Otherwise, ink may drip
from the print head at which purging was not performed.
Step 4 : Lift the purge plate to fix it.
Step 5 : Close the maintenance cover; ensure that the cover has been firmly fixed.
