Step 8 : The unit will initial start-up operations.
• The following message is displayed on the operation panel.
Notes
• In case that the parts’ life becomes end, when turning the power of the unit ON, the following messages
are displayed alternately on the operation panel every 2 seconds.
• (Refer to: “Replacement of the print head and CR motor”)
Notes
• Details of the value displayed every two seconds are as follows.
• PanelSet: Display a set value of present negative pressure.
• Refer to: “Negative pressure pump menu”
• Actual: Display the measurement value of present negative pressure.
Step 9 : After confirming the removal of the print head cap, press the [ENTER] key on the operation panel.
Notes
• The initialization of the hard disk which is installed in the unit is performed for about 10 seconds after 3
seconds from the launch of the initial start-up operation.
• During this operation,
• The operation panel will not work even if pushing [ENTER] key.
• The display will not change even if the parts’ life cycle is displayed.
Step 10 : After finishing initial start-up operations, the unit will enter the normal operating condition.
Notes
• If there are any problems during the initial start-up operation, the unit will display a message on the
control panel, and the operation may stop.
• If the operation stops, refer to "6 Troubleshooting", and take the appropriate measures.
Step 11 : Using the wash bottle, soak the sponges and poly-nit wipers of the print head cap enough with the
jet-wash fluid.
Step 12 : Keep the print head cap in the accessories box.
