TROUBLE
Difficult starting
CAUSE
Defective spark plug,
Water or dirt in fuel system.
CORRECTION
Replace spark plug.
Use carburetor bowl drain to flush and refill with
fresh fuel.
Engine runs erratic Blocked fuel line, empty gas tank, or stale Clean fuel line; check fuel supply; add fresh

plug wire. Clean discharge chute and inside of
auger housing.
Stop engine immediately and disconnect spark
plug wire. Remove object from auger.
