ADDRESS BOOK
Frequently used scan-to-email, scan-to-FTP, scan-to-SMB, and scan-to-WebDAV
destinations can be saved for ease of use. Up to 2,000* address book destinations
can be saved. The most commonly used destinations in the address book can be
stored under the favorites tab for easy access.
PDF ENCRYPTION
Documents scanned as PDF files can be encrypted at the machine. With an
“embedded” function, users are able to perform the encryption directly at the device.
There is no need to scan it, le it electronically, retrieve it using an application
such as Adobe Acrobat, apply the encryption and then electronically distribute
the encrypted le. The device allows you to apply the encryption levels and
permissions available to you in Adobe Acrobat. The user does not need to sacri ce
any type of functionality or security by performing the scan encryption at the device.
LDAP SEARCH FUNCTION
This bizhub devices support the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
for accessing LDAP directory databases. These databases contain the Email and IP
Addresses of every network user on the network. It searches for a destination Email in
the LDAP server from the MFX-C3035’s control panel.

The step sheet on the slit glass prevents
originals from directly contacting the slit
glass in the RADF during scanning. It also
minimizes the generation of noise streaks
during copying and scanning, which would
be otherwise caused by paper dust and dirt
from originals adhering on the slit glass.
