Universal Printer Drivers for MFPs and printers provide users, particularly those
that work in an environment with multiple devices, with a common user interface.
This common user interface not only simpli es print operations but it also increases
e ciency and productivity. Users are able to easily detect local devices and perform
their printing tasks as aresult of this consistency among the printer drivers.
From an IT perspective, a common interface simpli es managing multiple and
diverse devices on the network. It also saves time and costs because the IT
administrator doesn’t need to spend valuable time uploading multiple print drivers.
Currently, Universal Printer Drivers are o ered for PCL and PostScript for Windows
