MFX-C3035 Key Selling Features
18
In an e
ort to reduce the size of the
machine, several steps were taken
toreduce the size of the engine section.
First a slanted layout was created for the
imaging units, image transfer unit,  xing
unit and toner cartridges allowing these
items to be placed more densely.
Second, the distance between the
center of the imaging unit to the bottom surface of the print head unit was reduced 19
mm. Finally, theprint head unit itself was reduced in size.
In addition to space savings in the engine design, the paper path was reduced.
The image transfer cleaning blade was repositioned and the waste toner transport
section was moved to reduce the paper path’s length. Further, the duplex unit
was designed to have a thin pro le, helping to reduce the width of the machine
while still being able to handle thick paper by rearranging the transport roller.
