To minimize the occurrence of a paper misfeed due to a slippery Paper Take-Up Roll, the Paper Take-
Up Solenoid is energized a second time if a sheet of paper fails to reach the Synchronizing Roller
Sensor within a given period of time after the solenoid has been energized first.
•
A paper take-up misfeed results if the sheet of paper does not reach the Synchronizing Roller Sensor
even after two paper take-up sequences.
