4.12.6 Uneven print density

Symptom: Image graduates from dark to light across page.

Poor development

The drum cartridge or toner cartridge may be not installed correctly. Install

each cartridge correctly.

Replace the Toner cartridge

Replace the High Voltage Unit.

Clean the LED print head.

Defective Drum

If the drum surface for moisture condensation found, leave drum in unit with

power on to dry.

Replace the Drum Cartridge.

Poor image transfer

Replace the Image Transfer Unit.

Replace the High Voltage Unit.

Replace the Main Control PCB.

4.12.7 Irregularities

Symptom: Portions of image are broken or missing.

Poor image transfer

Replace the Image Transfer Unit.

Replace the High Voltage Unit.
