5.Makesurethatthefollowingdeviceisenabledandconguredcorrectly.
•Problem:Recordingsmadeusingthemicrophoneinputarenotloudenough.
Solution:MakesurethattheMicrophoneBoostfunctionisturnedonandsetbydoingthefollowing:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickSound.
4.ClicktheRecordingtabintheSoundwindow.
5.SelectMicrophone,andclickthePropertiesbutton.
6.ClicktheLevelstab,andmovetheMicrophoneBoostsliderupwards.
7.ClickOK.

•Problem:Avolumeorbalanceslidercannotbemoved.

Solution:Itisnormalforthesliderstochangepositionwhencertainsoundapplicationsareused.The

•Problem:ThereisnovolumecontrolforMIDIsoundintheVolumeMixerwindow.
Solution:Usethehardwarevolumecontrol.Thisisbecausethebuilt-insynthesizersoftwaredoes

•Problem:ThesoundcannotbeturnedoffevenifyousettheMastervolumecontrolatminimum.
Solution:YoustillcanhearsomesoundeventhoughyouhavesettheMastervolumecontrolatminimum.
Toturnoffthesoundcompletely,gototheMastervolumecontrolandselectMutespeakers.
•Problem:Whenyouconnectheadphonestoyourcomputerwhileplayingsound,aspeakerdoesnot
producesound.
Solution:Oncetheheadphonesareattached,thestreamingisautomaticallyredirectedtoit.Ifyouwant
