Anacpoweradapterproblem
Problem:Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,butthe
poweradapter(powerplug)iconisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnoticationarea.Alsotheacpower
indicatordoesnotlightup.
Solution:Dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethattheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect.Forinstructionsonconnectingtheac
poweradapter,seeSafety,Warranty,andSetupGuidethatcomeswithyourcomputer.
2.Iftheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,thendisconnecttheac
poweradapter.
3.Reconnecttheacpoweradapter,thenturnonthecomputer.
4.IfthepoweradaptericonstillisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnoticationarea,havetheacpower
adapterandyourcomputerserviced.

adapterdirectlytotheacpoweroutlet.
3.Inspecttheacpoweradapter.Checkforanyphysicaldamage,andensurethatthepowercableisrmly
attachedtotheadapterbrickandthecomputer.
4.Verifytheacpowersourceisworkingbyattachinganotherdevicetotheoutlet.
Ifyourcomputerdoesnotrunonbatterypower,checkthefollowingitems:
1.Ifthebatteryrunsoutofpower,attachacpoweradaptertorechargethebattery.
