Phonebook Starter Config. MultiVOIP Quick Start Guide Phonebook Starter Configuration (with remote voip) To do this part of the quick setup, you need to know of another voip that you can call to conduct a test. It should be at a remote location, typically somewhere outside of your building. You must know the phone number and IP address for that site. Generally, “1 “or “11” or “0” must be dialed as a prefix for calls outside of the calling code area (long-distance calls, national calls, or international calls).

Phonebook Tips MultiVOIP Quick Start Guide Phonebook Tips Preparing the phonebook for your voip system is a complex task that, at first, seems quite daunting. These tips may make the task easier. 1. There are digits (PBX access codes) that must be dialed by phones connected to PBX systems or key systems.
