15. Check with your in-house phone personnel to verify
whether your local PBX dial signaling is Pulse or DTMF
(tone). Select the Regeneration option accordingly.
In the Max Dial Digits box, enter the maximum number of
digits allowed when dialing a phone number. The default
number is 5. In the Inter Digit Time option defines the
maximum amount of time between dialed digits that the
unit will wait before mapping the dialed digits to an entry in
the Phone Directory Database. If too much time elapses
between digits, the wrong number will be mapped and you
will hear a rapid busy signal. If this happens, hang up and
dial again. The default setting is 2 seconds.
In the Flash Hook Timer box, enter the amount of time for
the duration of the flash hook signals output on the FXO
interface. The default setting is 600 milliseconds.
