WAN Link(s) Setup
The Default WAN Link(s) Setup screen enables you to enter necessary information for WAN 1
(DSU port) and WAN 2.
Note: Click (enable) MultiLink PPP (MLPPP) if you want to bond the two WAN ports
(56KDSU and RS232/V.35), then enter the User Name and Password for WAN 1 (DSU)
as agreed upon with your ISP and enter the identical User Name and Password for
WAN 2.
13 In the WAN 1 (DSU) group, enter the User Name and Password for WAN port 1, as
agreed upon with your ISP, or click the Enable check box to disable WAN 1.
14 If WAN 2 will be used for dialout or RAS, configure this port for the device connected to
it. If the external device is a modem, click the drop-down list in the Modem Type field
and choose the corresponding modem type. Then enter your ISP’s phone number in the
Dial Number field and assign the User Name and Password for WAN port 2, as agreed
upon with your ISP.
If you do not wish to use the WAN 2 port, click the Enable check box to disable WAN 2.
When you are finished, click OK to continue installing the software.
15 The following dialog box is displayed.
Click OK to proceed.
